Some of the symptoms are:

1. Pressure or pain in the abdomen, pelvis, back, or legs
2. A swollen or bloated abdomen
3. Nausea
4. Indigestion
5. Gas
6. Constipation, or diarrhea
7. Feeling very tired all the time
8. Shortness of breath
9. Feeling the need to urinate often
10. Unusual vaginal bleeding (heavy periods, or bleeding after menopause)

NO, NO. There is no present screening test for ovarian cancer. The PAP smear/test is good for what it was designed for but not for ovarian cancer.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a Federal income supplement program funded by general tax revenues (not Social Security taxes) and pays benefits based on financial need. Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) pays benefits to you and certain members of your family if you are "insured," meaning that you worked long enough and paid Social Security taxes. You do not need to have worked the required time to receive SSI.

There is an online test that you may take that will tell you if there are any benefits for you from the SSA. This test is called The Benefit Eligibility Screening Tool (BEST) and is able to properly answer this question. The link below will take you to the test. It does not however take any personal information nor does it give any benefit amounts. It only tells you if you qualify for any benefits.

The determination of ovarian cancer is based upon a pathology report and an operative report. In the absence of these reports, they may use a physician's opinion.

TRICARE is the health care program serving active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, their families, survivors and certain former spouses worldwide.
